My very good friend, Loreto Aramendi, is a wonderfully talented organist who plays at the Santa Maria Basilica in the old part of San Sebastian. She also tours all over the world, offering organ concerts wherever she is invited to play.
When she asked me to collaborate on her latest CD I didn’t need to think twice. She wanted drawings of gargoyles and fantastic beasts to illustrate the booklet.

It was such a fun project – no limits on this one! Some of the gargoyles are from the Cathedral of Salamanca where the CD was recorded and a few of the fantastic creatures are suggestions from my daughters who are mad about magic!

The CD, `Orlos, Clarines y otros Nazardos,` is a double one of gorgeous music while the booklet is a fascinating story of the Salamanca Organ and Cathedral along with poems and thoughts which have been translated into 5 languages.
